Fictitious employee G.R. (Grace) Emlin is the greatest inside joke of modern computing. Created by the Unix research team at Bell Labs in order to perpetuate practical jokes on their management, G.R. makes numerous appearances throughout the history of the Unix operating system. This personification of G.R. was found among the artifacts taken from the “Unix lab” at Bell Labs headquarters in Murray Hill, New Jersey. Peter’s photograph is offered as a signed 11×14 inch open edition print on fine art paper.
