The Alpine Inn roadhouse in Portola Valley, California has been a popular watering hole for Silicon Valley locals since its construction in 1852. The saloon status as an iconic landmark was cemented on August 27, 1976 when researchers transmitted the first data packets across the Internet while sitting at one of the picnic tables. Peter’s photograph of the Alpine Inn was made in 2013 and is offered as a signed 11×14 inch open edition print on fine art paper.
Limited edition larger sizes are available upon request.
